Freedom

What is true freedom? Question is worth exploring because the majority of the people who think they’re free are actually far from free. They’re not visible in chains — they walk free, think they do whatever they want, and believe they’re free. But in truth they’re the farthest thing from freedom.

The truth is, the clothes you wear, the car you drive, the grocery you buy, the food you order, or the need you watch and the social media you follow, are all programmed to you. You’re being watched and tracked and monitored. Each one of your actions is recorded digitally. And they repeat that experience by bombarding you with the same experience, object, and content again. So you’re satisfied and think that you’re free when you’re actually a prisoner of another reality someone else designed for you.

But you can get free from their shacks if you pay attention.

Do you know what’s harder? Gaining freedom from your own thoughts. We all have been programmed to think in certain patterns and believe in certain ideas that we totally fail to notice in daily life. A child growing up in a slum is forced to believe that the rich are bad people. A kid raised in a rich household may be nudged into believing that only Christian’s are good people. These thoughts just sit in the kids brain and grow untouched, turning them into one sided close minded adults, which we all are in some ways.

This is real imprisonment. When you can’t even realise that you’re a victim of these limiting thoughts, that’s real slavery. What can you do, you may ask.

Well there are many ways to break these self imposed chains. The basis of all methods is to raise your awareness and consciousness so that you start to catch your own thoughts. Raising awareness of not a piece of cake. It takes intense hard work.

The best way out there is meditation. With proper guidance, you can reach high levels of focus and awareness that you recognise you own limiting thoughts at their roots. But it definitely takes time.

Another, shorter, but dangerous route is psychedelics. Administered under expert guidance, psychedelics break away your cocoon of thought systems and thrusts you in the face of reality. And your mind may awaken as if getting splashed with freezing cold water.

Extreme physical activity is also a great way to expand consciousness and break free from imposed and limiting thoughts.

Whatever path you choose, stick to it and take it one step at a time. Freedom shall find you in the form of pure life.
