No, people who have put down $1,000 only want a Tesla and what it stands for — the absolute best cars in the world (tops in tech, safety, acceleration, design, storage, style)— and will not cancel. The already know Tesla has a reputation for delivering late and are willing to wait for the best. There isn’t really any competition and that is why there are 400K reservations.
