I love the note about starting with what you do now. Many teams I’ve been a part of describe the world as they wish it existed, or as it exists on paper, but not how it actually is! There’s often a big disconnect between the things we say we do and the things we actually do. In organizations with low levels of trust, it’s pretty dang hard to get folks to come to terms with the things they actually do.
