As humans, we have to cope with change throughout our lives. Such changes are often subtle and slow. Most people will be hard pressed to pinpoint the exact moment a change set in (tragedy, death and divorce aside).

For companies, however, change is often much more deliberate. Conceiving and orchestrating such change can be hard and, sadly, will often fail.

It takes a lot of perseverance, hard work and wisdom to really make a company change a complete success.

There’s research that suggest that the success rate of major change initiatives is only 54 percent.

There are plenty of books, blogpost and articles out there proclaiming how to make your change initiative a success.

Unfortunately, things are never as simple in practice as they are in theory. It takes a lot of perseverance, hard work and wisdom to really make a company change a complete success.
