Being present and what it means

We’ve all heard that term before, except no one gives us a better understanding of what it really means. I’ve been on my 30-day meditation challenge daily and I discovered a lot of small concepts to get me through my day, not just get me through but actually be aware of the awareness (sounds weird, I know).
So, think of something embarrassing that happened recently or even something you should’ve done but you didn’t. Feeling that uncomfortable sensation huh? Now observe that feeling!

You’ve just successfully observed the inner self and it wasn’t as hard as you thought! Now those thoughts are just observations, you’re aware of them but they haven’t taken any form.
I’ve been doing this more and more! Eventually you get into a state where you re-act less to useless thoughts, expressions, worries etc. THIS IS THE PRESENT, where you’re fully aware of everything.
BUT I STILL FEEL SHITTY REGARDING THE OBSERVATION! Yes, I know! It happens all the time, when a rude person is speaking with his ego and directing that energy towards you, it totally sucks but as long as you observe it, you create a small space to navigate around it.

Just be aware of your thoughts, observations, try to ask WHY this feeling keeps floating up etc. Soon enough you might discover something special :)
