Metamodernism and influence of other arts

Have you ever pondered on a question to “what the fuck is art today?”. You’ll get the over-used phrase of “Oh it’s the expression of one self”. You are correct but, let’s get into it a little deeper.

I was always fascinated by peoples expression of the society, tangible way to do so was through art. It was a way to dip into your soul (no not spiritual shit) but more of a perspective that was discovered through the mere beauty of full emotional experience.

Are we cynics that are living through optimism? As society becomes more individualistic, I cannot bare to think against it. The whole notion of “these millennial are only interested in themselves.” I can agree to disagree.

“Just as science strives for poetic elegance, artists might assume a quest for truth. All information is grounds for knowledge, whether empirical or aphoristic, no matter its truth-value. We should embrace the scientific-poetic synthesis and informed naivety of a magical realism. Erroneousness breeds sense.” -Luke Turner

The art is self is a very fucked up term, over used by our “political correctness”. Is is the truth? That we’re moving back to the roots but innovating to a modern fairy tale. So, you can say all postmodern art is dead, but why the fuck should I care? As I go about my day living my expression of spilled colors.

The solution to it might be, address today’s concern of the world tomorrow.

I plan a topic and spit it raw as a freestyle at the moment. Follow me if you want to hear more freestyles.

Good day HUMAN!
