I appreciate the critical nature of the article, as well as this oft ignored perspective, which I am a supporter of. But… “Homosexuality is thankfully no longer a medicated mental illness!”? REALLY? I am going to assume you meant to say “Homosexuality is no longer CONSIDERED a mental illness, and therefore requires no medication.” If that is the case, then you chose your words VERY poorly, because you are not only implying that being gay IS (or was at some point) a mental illness, but that it WAS worth of medication (but thankfully now it’s not). If that is not what you meant then I have no words for you, your article makes no sense. This is just an invitation to be more mindful (see what I did there) of your words, and how to express yourself.
