Doodlebug is a 1997 “short Mystery Psychological thriller” Written and Directed by Christopher Nolan. Nolan Created this Short-Film with 16mm film gauge.

As we were introduced to Christopher Nolan’s narrative structure with his 11; mind-bending thrillers that deals with; sci-fi, action-thriller, and drama known for its scale and mastery work in filmmaking. But we wouldn’t have experienced or known about his 1997-Short-film “Doodlebug” which you would be surprised to know that it has the narrative element close to; Memento and Inception. deals with “psyche” “duality” and of course “time”.

LOOP AND DUALITY

The short film analyses the “Psyche” of an anxious character, that dwelled in an obsessional state, which he is trying to overcome by killing a small bug-like creature, but every time he goes with this obsession, he doesn’t know, that he is just putting him under a duality form, which wobbles him under a loop to kill himself in the end.
