Memory Test

Memory Test

Do you have an ability for remembering names and numbers or are you the type of person who forgets things from one moment to the next? Find out if you have the proverbial memory of an elephant by taking this test.

Read each question carefully and answer as truthfully as possible. After finishing the Dumb Test, you will receive a detailed, personalized interpretation of your score that includes diagrams and information on the test topic.
There are three types of memory: sensory, short-term/working, and long-term. Sensory memory refers to information received through our five senses, which is then passed into working memory and filtered so that we ignore stimuli that either aren’t important or doesn’t really interest at the time. Our short-term or working memory allows for temporary recall and therefore, tends to be forgotten really easily. When we implement a memorization technique however, the information we receive is encoded in our long-term memory.

Although memory does decline with age (starting in our 20’s) many experts believe that keeping the mind fit by continuing to learn new things and seeking out novel experiences can often counterbalance the decline of our cognitive functioning over time.

Mental Speed Test

Mental Speed Test

The following test is meant to assess your mental speed how quickly you can process information and make decisions based upon that information. The exercise consists of word/image pairs and simple mathematical equations or number sequences. If a pair matches, click the “Correct” button (the left arrow key on your keyboard). If the pair does not match, click the “Incorrect” button (the right arrow key on your keyboard). However, if the word “Opposite” appears at the top of the screen, you need to reverse your answer.

In the first example (pear and star), the answer would be incorrect (“Incorrect”). For the second example, although it is an exact match, the word Opposite appears at the top of the screen, so rather than choosing “Correct” you would have to choose “Incorrect”

For the mathematical equations simply indicate whether the answer is correct or incorrect. For the number, sequences indicate whether the number in red correctly completes the sequence.

Visual-Spatial Intelligence Test

Can you do 3D puzzles…without using your hands? Our visual-spatial intelligence test assesses your ability to mentally manipulate 3D objects, a skill that has practical significance in everyday life and in the workplace. Find out if your brain can flip, rotate, and piece together these images and have fun doing it!

The following IQ test is designed to test your visual and perceptual abilities, as well as your abstract reasoning. The questions are ordered in terms of difficulty.
As you can see, the first equation is wrong the answer should be 5, so in this case, you would choose “incorrect”. However, although the number sequence is also wrong (the answer should be 22), the word Opposite requires you to reverse your answer, so in this case, you would choose “Correct” rather than “Incorrect”.

Remember, you are being timed, so try to answer as quickly as possible and remember to reverse your answer when the word “Opposite” appears.

Logic IQ Test

Logic IQ Test

Do you have a knack for numbers? This test is designed to test your logic and mathematical IQ. It will assess your ability to logically discern numerical patterns and to apply them to new contexts, to complete numerical computations and to solve geometrical, mathematical and logic word problems. The test does not require mathematical education above the high school level. For the most part, it does not evaluate the acquisition of specific formulas or procedures.

There are twenty questions, divided into three parts (number analogies, number series, and word problems), each consisting of 6 to 7 questions. You are permitted to use a calculator and a piece of paper and a pen. After finishing the test, you will find out how accurate and fast you were. Have fun!

Roommate Test

Some people have the knack for sharing living quarters while others are, well, better off living alone. Where do you fit in? Find out whether you’re roommate material by taking this test.

Please read each statement carefully and respond as truthfully as you can. If you have never had a roommate, respond as you expect you would. Take this roommate IQ test with the “average” roommate in mind (a relationship in which pretty much everything is split down the middle). After finishing the test, you will receive a personalized interpretation of your score that includes a graph and information on the test topic and tips.

Culture Fair IQ Test

The following IQ test is designed to test non-verbal intelligence while minimizing cultural or educational biases. It’s a culture fair IQ test that will measure your intellectual ability, entertain you infinitely, and tie your brain in a thousand knots! It is based on image patterns, thus avoiding the cultural biases inherent in other intelligence tests. The questions are ordered in terms of difficulty.

  1. Examine the large image.
  2. Select the answer option which is the missing piece from the larger image.
  3. After completing one page, move on to the next.

Classical IQ Test

Are you a logical thinker? A numerical whiz? A verbal genius? Or are you spatially inclined? Are you looking for intellectual stimulation? Find out how smart you are (and increase your IQ) with our classical IQ test.
This classical IQ test measures several factors of intelligence, namely logical reasoning, math skills, language abilities, spatial relations skills, knowledge retained, and the ability to solve novel problems.

(Please note that it doesn’t take into consideration emotional intelligence).

This test is supposed to assess your intellectual potential, not your performance under stress. Therefore, there is no time limit. Nonetheless, this test is usually completed in less than one hour. You may use a calculator, a piece of paper, and a pencil. Do not use software to solve the problems, even if you programmed it yourself. And, of course, you will have to work alone. Before you start, make sure that you have about an hour of free time during which nobody will disturb you.

Carefully read every question and select your answer. You will need to select an answer for every question. Some questions are designed to be very difficult. If you cannot figure out the answer, simply select I don’t know and move on.
