Over the last week, I have posted images on Instagram of a United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) employee and his gun sales that can be viewed publicly on the Indiana Gun Owners website. Numerous requests have been received to provide the images to USPSA members that are not on Instagram. I will leave it to the reader to make their own assessment of the activities. Many of the guns are listed as New In Box. The sales amount to approximately 30 guns and a rough estimate of $23K in revenue from 2020 (inclusive of guns, parts, and ammo) based on the asking price in the images below. Again, this is my rough analysis and readers should double check my math. I cannot speak directly to the original purchase price or ownership outside any of the sales beyond what is mentioned in the posts.

Several of the guns appear to be specifically tied to USPSA Front Sight magazine reviews. For example, below is a Sig MPX Competition PCC that was featured on the magazine cover, which is mentioned as an added selling point in the advertisement. It is also mentioned that the gun was purchased through “SIG’s program”. The review for the gun can be found here.

There are a couple of other guns possibly tied to reviews: below is a CZ Shadow 2 Carry Optics for sale. The review was in the September/October 2020 USPSA Front Sight magazine, and the gun was listed for sale on November 2020. Further below is a Walther Q5 SF that was the subject of another review.

Multiple posts were edited on July 25th. The posts after the edits have no title or description to what was sold, including this one:

Fortunately, the post was still available through Google’s cache, and appears to be a Ruger American Competition Pro handgun.

Judging by the edit date, the gun was originally sold on April 7th, so you can judge for yourself what the purpose of the edit was on July 25th.

There are other examples of edited posts on July 25th — all with missing descriptions and titles of what was sold.

These two posts are no longer available through Google cache.

However, the titles can still be found through Wayback Machine.

This information was brought to the Indiana Gun Owners forum admins on August 14th and they started an investigation immediately.

As part of the investigation by the forum admins, they reverted the edits made to all of the recent posts this year that had previously been edited to remove the description and title of the advertisement.

The reverted edits also showed two guns that had previously had their descriptions and titles removed on July 25th in addition to the Ruger mentioned above. One is acknowledged to be from a review. It is unknown what manufacturer or model of handguns these are, since the forum admins did not restore the titles.

The forum admins as part of their investigation announced merits to the allegations on social media.

Below are images from more posts:

There are also various ammo sales posted, including ammo from Federal. Additionally, there are examples of Federal ammo bundled with guns for sale.
