[1] There was an old library in an ancient town of China called Lin Hong, but the special thing about that town was there were no native Chinese in that town.

In the library, only few people used to come in. The owner’s name was Mr. Linden. He was 89 with white beard, shabby clothes and long hair.

One day a young girl named Linda came in, she was 17, had blue eyes and blond silky hair which were dragging the ground as she walks in. She was beautiful as a rainbow.

It was 4pm, sky outside looked colorful and enjoyable.

Linda opens the door and bring some fresh air in as she breezes in, she started walking up to Mr. Linden who was positioning the books in order.

[5] She taps Mr. Linden’s shoulder and asks in her melodious voice “Sir, would you mind telling me where the magic books are?”

Mr. Linden turns around and point near the vending machine and says in deep voice “It’s over there young lady.”

She waves her hand in sign of thank you.

She heads over to magic books; she leans down to perceive what books are there. She goes over all the books there were, but she doesn’t find any she adores.

She sees a book; the book was golden with black title saying “The Book Of The Best Magic” she goes over to that book.

[10] She grabs the book and looks at its back and front, she goes over to the counter to get this book. She finds Mr. Linden in front of the counter busy on his computer.

She asks Mr. Linden “Sir, would you mind checking this book out for me?”

Mr. Linden replies to her saying “Oh sure, just tell me the book you want and if you have a library card with us.”

She tells Mr. Linden “The book I have picked is, The Book Of The Best Magic and I have a library card.”

Mr. Linden gets shocked by hearing the books name.

[15] He tries to warn her and says “Young lady, you should not borrow this book. This is a curse book. Why don’t you try some other magic books? We do have plenty of magic books.”

But something was making Linda borrow the book, so she did not listen to Mr. Linden. Mr. Linden’s hands were shaking when he checked out the book.

Mr. Linden looks at her as she goes out of the shop. By that time, it was 6pm, it was time to wrap up the shop and close it.

All night Mr. Linden were thinking about Linda and the book. He couldn’t sleep all night because of this.

On the other hand, Linda went straight to read the book as she reached home. She laid down on her bed and started reading the book, the book felt normal for the first few pages.

[20] As she started reading the book, as she got to page 57 a big white flash came out. Everything was white for a few minutes. She felt like it was end of her.

The big white flash vanished, Linda felt weird, so she went to sleep with the book open. Mr. Linden was still thinking about Linda because of book. He warned her. But it was too late now….

She woke up next morning with a headache.

She went to Starbuckters to get some coffee. She opened the door and walked in with a bunch of dirt on her shoes. She rubbed them on the welcome carpet.

She walks up to the barista and asks “Hello! would you mind giving me blood with extra cream?” Everyone stares at her.

[25] The barista reply’s “Uh- blood? Do u mean bloody red with extra cream?”

She shakes her head.

Soon after she starts heading back home. As she was walking, she started thinking about what just happened there.

She reaches home and goes to the bathroom to check her makeup and dress. She looks at her in the mirror she sees her eyes were red with blood dripping from her eyes. She closes her eyes and looks back up. Nothing… Nothing was there.

Strange things like that happened to her for a few days…

[30] One day when she was going for a walk. She met a boy his age and his name were Grayson. They both became friends and started talking. Linda didn’t tell him about the things that were happing with her.

One day Linda gets a strange call from a unknow number.

The person said “HELP ME. You will tell Grayson what’s happing with you or else something worst will happen PLEASE”

She ignored that call and didn’t tell anything to him. Instead, they became best friends. Her eyes were still getting blood in them, and her head and legs also started twisting out of nowhere now.

Few days after ignoring the call she got a news that her family died out of nowhere. Sad things kept on coming her way.

[35] One day she remembers what that call said. The next day she told Grayson everything that happened with her.

Grayson said, “Well I know a person who can help you be free!”

Linda reply’s with “Well I want to be free as soon as possible. Let me free please.”

They both go to an old house which in middle of a forest. They knock on the door. An old man answers and door and invites them inside.

They tell everything to old man that had happened.

[40] He says, “Well I have the right thing do, you have that book with you by any chance?”

She reply’s with “Yes I do.” She hands the book to him.

The old man takes the book. After taking the book he grabs some wood sticks and a lighter. He burns the book down; Linda gets a big white flash again and she feel better and lighter. They both greet old man to thank him and head back home.

[43] Few months after they both get married, and they never looked back in the past.

The End.
