We now have two levels of testing in our app: unit testing and UI testing. Plus, the unit tests cover both normal code and database interactions. All of this will help ensure our app is working as we expect and give us happier users. We can also feel safer making changes in the codebase without (as much) fear of breaking things since our tests will let us know as soon as we do.

So much more is available with testing in Android that we don’t have the space for here, but I do hope this gives you an idea of where you can go with your apps. If you’re wanting more, head over to the Android Developers docs and codelabs — they have a bunch to offer there that I highly recommend. [16]

And with that, we’re done here. You’re ready to start building your own dream app (or at least your first app on your own). I do hope you enjoyed both Penny Drop and the Android Baseball League!
