My partner from the other side
It’s said that marriages are affairs of God
Something or someone destined to a destiny
As I gave my hand to this handsome hunk
To lift my spirits up, so high, that heavens need not look down
Days went by, this new place turning greyer shade by shade
The same hands that ran slow and was easily steady
Is now grown it’s nails, and is no more easy when I am not ready
We should be together through thick n thin, said my mother
Now, I am with him and its not easy, it’s too thick or too thin
My spirits are dragged down by his claws
And kept underneath, it’s getting grey and difficult to breath
My partner, I should have known, it’s getting grey and difficult to breath!
