How To Install Kali Linux in Windows using Virtual box using .VDI File

Step 1:First we have to install the oracle virtual box in the windows system

or you can click in the below link and download the virtual box.exe

https://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/7.0.12/VirtualBox-7.0.12-159484-Win.exe

Step 2:- Install the virtual box in your system

complete the installation by clicking next button
The installation is finished

Step 3:- Now you need to download the Linux .vdi file from the kali.org web site by searching on the browser from the below link you can directly download the linux .vdi file for (64bit) windows os.

For Windows (64bit) :Download

For windows (32bit) :- Download

Step 4 :- After Installing .vdi file now you have to extract the kali linux zip file by clicking extract all

After extract the file now you have to open the virtual box

Step 5:- Now you have to click on file at the left corner and click on the preference (or ctrl+G).

So you will get this pop-up

So here you can see the default machine folder path so in this file path you need to move the extracted kali linux file content.

Step 6 :- Now go to the virtual box application and click on the new button and do as show in the below image give the same parameter.

After this go in the hard disk option and click using existing hard-disk

If you not show like this directly then you have to click one the yellow icon

click on the add button then click on the kali -linux file this type of icon as show below now click on that and open and click on that file and choose

Step 7:- Now go to the hardware section and so the same as show below and hit enter button for the keyboard.

Step 8:- Now click on the kali 1 file and open settings by clicking settings

and go to display section and set it to maximum

and now go to the network section change the nat into bridged adapter

now click on ok so now we are set to run the Linux operating system :)

Step 9:- Now click on the kali 1 and start run

Step 10:- now after getting below interface you need to enter username and password as kali and hit enter.

So congratulations you have installed kali linux successfully in to your system
