So what’s the jogging track you are building?

There’s a lovely garden close to where we live, with a kilometre-long jogging track along the perimeter. Every morning, I start my day with a walk here. It’s wonderful to be in these vibrant, green surroundings. Interestingly, it’s a private builder who’s created this lovely garden and not the government or the municipality.

As I walked there this morning with just a hint of a drizzle, the feeling was magical. And I wanted to send a ‘thank you’ to the people who created this garden, and maintain it too. Not sure if it will reach him, but I wanted to send my thanks anyway for creating this piece of heaven on earth.

In our lives, the good times and the fun things we experience are often thanks to what other people have created. People we may not know. Or ever acknowledge.

Good to remember to thank the people who make our world a better place. And maybe we should all be doing our little bit too to make the world a better place — for other people.

So who are you going to thank today?

And what’s the jogging track you are building?

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
