Ingredients:
200g paneer, cut into cubes
1 cup green peas (matar)
2 medium-sized onions, chopped
2 medium-sized tomatoes, chopped
2-3 green chillies, slit lengthwise
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
Water as required
Instructions:
Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and green chillies, and sauté until the onions turn golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.
Add green peas and a little water. Cover and cook until the peas are tender.
Add paneer cubes and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
If the gravy is too thick, add some water to adjust the consistency.
Serve hot with roti, naan, or rice.
