Couldn’t agree more. Not that we (the industry) shouldn’t explore this space, but expecting it to succeed like other consumer tech (e.g. smartphones) in the next 2 to 3 years is just wishful thinking.
The combination of the right form factor and UX hasn’t really been imagined yet, or if it has, it’s got a long way to go to become reality.
