We Live in Shit and It’s Time to Change?
There was a time on this planet where learning (for any ethnic group) meant studying the beauty of mother nature and her forces.
Listening to birds chirp, watching rivers flow and discovering new hill stations or mountains was a part of the process of learning. We have come so far from that age that we have forgotten how to learn and grow in sync with the forces of nature and we have shifted to an environment where the primary purpose of education is dumping information on kids. The primary reason for this shift in purpose is because of how much the world has progressed and how much we have discovered. Our education systems assume that we know enough about nature and dump all the information we have on kids in the name of education.
However, the irony here is that we shall never ever learn enough about nature and her forces.
This dump of information forces young students to work within the dimensions of what we already know rather than experiencing nature and discovering what we don’t know and what we cannot teach.
Education isn’t about how much information you can retain from a text book or how well you remember what a teacher taught you. Education is a process of discovering and developing yourself as a person, realizing what you are truly capable of and most of all learning how to live harmoniously with nature.
With education losing its purpose and so much information out there that is just dumped on the youth the inevitable consequence is that most of the youth do not know who they really are or what they are really capable of. This consequence coupled with the fact that the youth is unequipped to process or discard such information in the right manner is definitely what has lead to the drastic increase of suicides, depression and loneliness.
Simply put, we now live in a world where we have almost forgotten the divinity of the forces of nature.
We rather worship figments of our imagination even at the cost of nature(the ultimate truth that cannot be defied) . Our mother has been devalued to nothing but a trash can?
Despite everything our mother has given us to raise us we continuously choose to neglect her and not give a fuck about her only because she doesn’t say a word? Her silence is our only justification for our ignorance?
The result of this ignorance is that we now live in a world of dirt (morally and physically) and we won’t even acknowledge the dirt because its normalized over generations.
Moral Dirt- Positive emotions and attitudes such as love, care and empathy don’t mean the same things like they used to.
When people claim to love and care it, they don’t mean unconditional love and care. What they really mean is, I shall love you and care for you as long as my self interests are not compromised. Finding people who love and care unconditionally is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Empathy has largely been replaced by sympathy to the extent where most people don’t even know the difference(consciously or sub-consciously).
We prefer smaller groups with similar narrow views and opinions to find our comfort. We are literally scared to accept or even take a look at at someone else’s opinions or world view if it doesn’t match with ours. It would most likely break into an argument or even war. Have we really reached a stage where we cannot accept a person in our lives simply because they do not think or see the world like we do?
Nature is like an open book for us to use in order shape ourselves and expand our consciousness, heart and soul but yet we prefer smaller groups and view points that comfort us. Our world-views our so strong that we believe there’s no scope for us to even believe that it can be shaken which is inherently flawed cause no world-view can be proved or disproved by anyone or even science.
No wonder LSD was used in mass scale to make people believe that world-views are plural in nature and can exist simultaneously and that the only truth in this world is the existence of life and nature.
“ LSD is just a tool to turn us into what we are supposed to be” — Albert Hoffmann
We need to stop narrowing in on our own consciousness and growth by conforming to a particular world-view, faith, opinion, religion etc. and believing that “my/my communities view is the right view”.
This mass narrowing in on consciousness is the reason why we live in a world of cut-throat competition, ego, jealousy, contempt and most importantly a state of war with our own kind only because everyone doesn’t think like we do, talk like we do or act like we do?
Physical Dirt- Just go out for a walk and take a look around you?
It’s so hard to find a clean street, a beautiful tree or hear the sounds of birds chirping. You’ll find people covering their mouths and nose with a mask because the air we breathe is filled with dirt, cleanliness has been replaced by ignorance, beautiful trees are replaced by a building in every corner, sounds of birds have been replaced by horns of vehicles.
No wonder everybody wants to get away from the city on a long weekend.
Year after year this dirt (physical and moral) just keeps spreading like an infection. There’s a new fatal disease we discover every year and mortality rates have hit rock bottom. Mental health issues are at an all time rise.
We have created a hostile environment for ourselves and the generations to come and that’s not even the worst part. The worst part is that we won’t even acknowledge what we are actually doing.
Most people are already unhappy with the life that they are living but a few years from now would you want to give life to someone in such an environment?
Irrespective of what you think, I rather not have children than put them through this mess and hostility.
WAKE UP. CHANGE YOURSELF. CHANGE THE WORLD.
“If the doors of perception were cleansed every thing would appear to man as it is, Infinite. For man has closed himself up, till he sees all things thro’ narrow chinks of his cavern” — William Blake
