Experiment #2 : No coffee after 3 pm

Experiment #1 : This week, i decided to workout at the office gym AFTER work.

Experiment start date : 22nd August.

Days fell off the wagon : 25th August, with a cough and a cold , I didn’t make it to work today , hence no workout either.

I want to be able to sleep better at night however i wake up tired and groggy and longing for an instant caffeine hit. In addition, the intoxicating aroma of coffee is just unparalleled. The Indian “masala chai” has a lot of flavor, but lacks the aroma that makes you believe in “wake up and smell the coffee!”.

But this week am drawing inspiration from the Tim Ferriss podcast. Tim calls his life a series of 2 week experiments and 6 month projects. Now this is extremely difficult for a “flood or famine” person such as me who cannot really fathom “moderation” or experiments that promise me anything less than a lifetime.

Hence the challenge of a 2-week experiment that cannot possibly change my life but won’t make me feel worthless if it won’t work out.

I am writing about it as writing itself is new for me.

Experiment #3: Write about my experiments on Medium.

Writing requires discipline, and i totally lack that. The 2 week experiment theory might help train me to commit to “smaller goals”. For this week, I will totally only focus on writing about the three experiments and how I am handling them.
