Dunkirk made me happy

Disclaimer: Understanding layers, decoding complex structures and related cinematic attributes are far away from my limited knowledge. All I know is to spot beauty, embrace it and not criticize things to attract spotlight towards me. I haven’t watched all of Nolan’s films. I have watched Batman trilogy, Interstellar, and The Prestige. When I watched Batman series, I thought he’s one kind of filmmaker. He broke that in Interstellar. I went back and watched The Prestige. It was again broken. That’s when Dunkirk was announced. I decided to watch it and I watched it.
The film doesn’t take a stand, doesn’t spice things up. It tells you what happened in Dunkirk. It’s up to you to research more to find out about the happening.
The visuals of the film left me happy. Yeah, I wasn’t awestruck, I was happy. I wanted to prolong the happiness and started editing photographs (photographs from recent travel with my friends)that were shot on Dhanushkodi shore (just 4 pictures :P). It was something I did to keep myself happy. The film made me happy and I tried to do something more to prolong it.
I still got unclear moments from the film, but who cares? The film left me happy.
I’ll share the photographs that prolonged my happiness.
P.S: Don’t comment in the post, if you find it hard to relate the pictures with the film :P
Watch the film in IMAX.
Love.
