After having used the smartphone for almost three months, I find myself in a fine position to write this review.

Oppo launched its new sub-brand Realme in May 2018, and it becomes a super hit in no time giving a seriously tough competition to Xiomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro. It seems that the phone was designed specifically to be a Redmi Note 5 pro killer. This smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon in three different variants:- 1) 3GB/32GB at Rs. 8,990; 2) 4GB/64GB at Rs. 10,990 and 3) 6GB/128GB at Rs. 13,990. It provides three colour choices- Diamond Black, Solar Red and Moonlight Silver. Well, I purchased the 4GB/64GB variant in Diamond Black colour.

First of all, let’s talk about its built design. It is made up of a plastic fibre body. But the stylish back side view of the Diamond Black variant gives the smartphone a premium look.
Well, the camera on this phone is superb. Even in dim light, the photos have sharp details. In addition to that, the front camera takes almost perfect selfies. The pictures taken from both the rear camera and the front camera are fantastic.
The phone has a 6 inch touchscreen display and an 18:9 screen to body ratio. It has an octa-core processor. It is a dual sim phone. Both of them are nano sim type. Also, it is powered by a 3410 mAh battery, and it operates on Android 8.1 and ColorOS 5.0.
The battery life is excellent. It lasts for almost a day and a half on normal usage, and even if you are a heavy user, it will continue for a day. Even at such a low price, it is interesting to note that Oppo has given it all the necessary sensors be it Gyroscope, Proximity sensor and much more.
Now lets talk about some of its con as well. One of them is that it has no fingerprint sensor to unlock this device which is seen in almost every other smartphone in this range. The video capture is limited to 1080p while another smartphone like Redmi Note 5 Pro can take 4K video recording.
Well, overall this is a value for money phone, and it’s definitely worth recommending.
