Over a period of 2 years, I have been working as a UI designer at Ideamine Technologies, an IT firm at Cochin, Kerala. Ever since I’ve been to designing one thing had a striking impact in me. That was typography.

Seriously, I was that person who looks at a poster to see the fonts first. Ah, and the fun part is to always reach a movie theatre never to miss the titles.

Luckily there are some apps to those interested in the same genre. Fontnerd is one such app, though only available for iPhone at the moment. It was fun to play with Fontnerd. Do check it out if this category interests you.

Yesterday, as on a regular basis I was deleting the subscribed newsletters from my mail that I accidentally opened up a newsletter from Webdesigner depot. Was indeed a good decision I made. I came across some awesome stuffs (yep, design related). One among them was Typeconnection. It asks you to select a date for a font. Lol! Fun that was.
