What you are good at is not something that comes from birth. You become the best by doing something for a really long time and you can do something for a really long time only if you are passionate about it.
It doesn’t matter how much IQ the student doctor has. As long as he loves what he is doing and keeps doing it, I see no reason why he will not improve. It might take him longer but he’ll get there. If he persists.
