#1 How did the Renaissance impact the use of scientific principles and technological advancement Renaissance age was when scientific theory became so popuplar. People starts using them to solve and study things that they don’t know. Although people still believe in religious too. Once science could reasoning what they don’t know, people inspired so that we saw many famous scientist at Renaissance age. New technologies or machines were built, for example antibiotic medicine. It’s been around industrial revolution in which factory were built too
#2 What impact did the use of science and technology during the Industrial Revolution have on society? The structure of our society have changed. At first, people consume what they produced. There were few trade occur in marketplace. After the revolution, most men became worker in factory while women stayed at home and did her duty. The school bacame standardize, people were assigned to have skill what factory wanted. The factory produced mass instead of self-used. Before there were only agriculture. Science and technology had been parts of people life. Capital and economic system became important instead of land.
#3 What is Toeffler’s Third Wave theory and where do you think Thailand is in his suggested theory of change?
Toeffler’s Third Wave theory is about imformation age and revolution. The development structure changed. Work can be done at office or home. Many factory have to downsized. Data is digitalize for example internet which can be spread out quick and globally. There were analog like book or audio before. Connection, relation and network becomes more matter. The business changed from corperation to conglomerate.
In thailand, we are agriculture country but we still have many factory and modern trade is important in Thailand. Thailand have not much capital compare to western countries. In fact, Toeffler’s theory can’t really use to apply to Thailand due to different kinds of culture, in fact we still need more knowledge in crops and farming. We built public transportation and those required high technologies. It’s hard to use information and data once it’s too much. I think people need to have knowledge to classsified good or bad information.
