The Money Podcast Fraud
It’s all Just a Marketing Ploy
So…no one else suspects that all the self-proclaimed “Gurus” giving financial advice on podcasts don’t have any money?
And it’s all a marketing ploy to get some? Consulting jobs, brand partnerships, etc.
Which is a hustle I respect, and advice I avoid. It’s kind of like taking swim lessons from a dude who’s yelling at you screaming “Move your arms, move your arms” but he’s in a boat himself!
And he’s trying to teach you how to swim so he can block the hole in the back. Look I’m an artist with zero business acumen and will probably die penniless.
But I just feel like people with real money don’t go on podcasts and tell you how to make it because they recognize that everyone works hard, but most of it was dumb luck and timing. Just me?
Different types of fish in the pond. Some have made it to the higher ladder and been kind of shared in limited circles. Encouraged to share it with the public and hence became fin-influencers.
We have always had such dudes who will guide you on money (and career and life). These roles have existed forever imo…
This piece is just my realization and opinion. I don't think you should trust these podcasts. Imo like 90% of them are pure BS.
