Do you know how easy it is to build an elevated planter box? After you have built one, you can use the raise herb planter on legs to grow some flowers and important plants. If you haven’t started gardening yet, these wooden boxes will mark a perfect entry into an emotionally fulfilling pastime.

With raised vegetable beds on legs, your chores in the garden are made way too easier than if you were to do it on the ground. All you need is to have a planting container standing on wooden or metallic legs. Fill it with soil and it’s ready for planting any of the herbs or vegetables you have in mind.

Here is how to build off the ground garden beds in a few steps:

Step 1: Cutting The Wooden Boards Into The Required Sizes

  • At least two longer side boards whose length will depend on your intended size of the elevated planter box.
  • At least 4 shorter side boards measured to the size of your planter box.
  • Four long leg wooden or metallic pieces cut to the required height.
  • Four short leg wooden or metallic pieces cut to the exact required size.
  • Support bars for the long legs cut to at least two pieces.

To ensure you go about your work easily and effectively, put each type of boards and legs separately. That way, you can pick the right piece whenever you want it.
