Ranking the Top 5 Point Guards in the Eastern Conference
Michael DePrisco

I am only responding to this because this is a common belief in NBA fan circles. The only reason why Isaiah Thomas is seen as better than John Wall is because he’s on TV more often and because he plays in Boston. Anyone who actually knows the game would consider this notion laughable. Wall is one of the best two way players in the league who averages a double double. A PG gets your team the ball and only one player did that better than Wall this year as he finished the year second in assists per game while averaging 23 ppg, and he led the league in steals per game, and he led all PGs in blocked shots. Isaiah Thomas while a decent player is very one dimensional and according to all statistical metrics is one of the worst defensive players in the league not just at his position. He will be exposed in this series vs Wall and the Wizards.
