Changing times bring new opportunities

Something interesting happened in Sri Lanka over the new year. Internet consumption on mobile took over desktop.

The next graph shows the horror that followed when the same happened in India around June 2012.

Mobile stuck its knife deep in desktop’s belly and spilled its guts all over. The desktop is going to linger on for a while like 70s bollywood character, who after being shot, stabbed still hangs around for another hour and two songs, just so that he can get his sister married.
