Varanasi- The city of Gods known for its Pulsating Aarti and the early Morning view on the Banks of Ganges- often said to be- Subah-e-Banaras.

It’s always a treat to be a part of the Ganges Aarti- the loud Chanting of prayers, the positive energy in the air filling your soul with hope and strengthening your spirit to fight against the odds, the ray of light in the darkness, the optimistic aura in the air- helps you to purify your thoughts and encourages you to overcome your fears.

Aarti- It has derived from a sanskrit word- ARATRIKA which means something which helps to remove the darkness and let the light of hope enter into your Lives.

The Ganges Aarti begins around 6.45 pm in the evening on the very famous Dashashwamedh Ghat surrounded by thousands of pilgrims busy trying to grab a seat to get the best view of Aarti, and there’s also an interesting way to pay your presence and witness the Aarti is by taking a boat ride on The Holy River Ganges.

Conch Shell “ Shankha”- a symbol of fame and fortune- helps to set you free from your Sins. It’s blown many a time in the middle of the Aarti.

Incense Sticks- Which helps to purify your soul from outer to its core. It gives fragrant smoke when burned- symbolically let’s just take it like burning the devils around and appraising the presence of pure souls.

Yak-Tail Fan- A ceremonial fly-whisk to pay honor and respect.

Peacock Feathers- Which represents the pureness and immortality of the soul.

Flowers- The symbol of Solidity and Gratitude.
