On the incredible, shrinking cost of urban transportation.
Alex Taussig

Fascinating piece that really deserves more credible responses IMO.

Two thoughts:

1) I think much cheaper transportation may actually be a counter force against remote work. It will allow people to live further from urban cores while allowing them to quickly, pleasantly, and cheaply travel to them. This hamstringing the biggest pro argument for remote work: access to talent that is not living locally due to whatever reason (commute time or cost).

2) I think there are going to be a BUNCH of apps, but one i keep thinking of is the spin class inside a rearchitected bus on the way to or from work.

A single golf clap? Or a long standing ovation?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
