Ordinary Man –

A Poem

Rooted in bond of gravity

Still wanna fly like a free bird

Silence of deep ocean

But let truth be loudly heard

Be rock tough from outside

To conquer the storm of seatide

Coconut heart mild and pure inside

Grow but with innocence of child

Lead by act to instil confidence.

Lord not to meek into diffidence

Kill ego to flower life out of seed

Burn to shine like a beetle indeed

Serve to give the smile back

Don’t wanna rule the pack

Merge self to be part of the crowd

To sync in symphony, not to stand out

Let me be part of whole

Wanna be ordinary, not a great soul

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
