I’m subscribing to this. Thank you for writing about your journey. I had a friend who developed Stage 4 cancer some time ago, and finally died. He lived in New Hampshire, but came to New York while he was still fit. We had lunch at a deli, and he talked about how strange it was to come to the city to pick out the suit he’d be buried in. At the end he wouldn’t let me come visit him because he wanted to be remembered as he was. He was my mentor and friend, David W. Wadland. A very long and complicated story I may write some day.
