How To Compliment Someone…

Growing up we are always conditioned to compliment someone on how they look or what they have on.

By complimenting someone on their inner qualities rather than just their physical appearance, we establish a more profound connection. We observe how people become happy when we take this approach.

In order to change that I’ve put together a list of some ways we can all begin to compliment someone without mentioning their appearance:

  1. Acknowledge their achievements or accomplishments:We can compliment someone by acknowledging their hard work and achievements. For example, “Your dedication to your work is truly inspiring. You’ve accomplished so much in such a short period of time.”

2. Highlight their positive character traits: We can compliment someone on their positive character traits such as kindness, generosity, or thoughtfulness. For example, “Your kindness knows no bounds. You always go above and beyond to help others.”

3. Acknowledge their effort and hard work: You can compliment someone by acknowledging the effort and hard work they put into a task or project. For example, “The amount of effort you put into this project is truly impressive. Your hard work paid off in a big way.”
