So, I have this “in-between-cell-phone” — the old phone I have been using while I await my Note 9 (or 10 — or Pixel 4XL) when all of a sudden the screen froze and refuse to swipe.

I went online and Youtube this phenomenon and got the instructions to fix but that required my holding down a physical home key and the power button. Alas, the physical home key on the old phone was broken and I was using a software key. I will have to open the thing and that is a pain.

Somehow, though the thought came to me that I should look for the good in all of it and I saw some that were really great. In my quest to try to fix the old phone, I connected it to my laptop and found out that the connected software for that phone automatically backed up all my voice note which are the most valuable information on the phone. So wow! I did not know this would have happened.

Then I found that I could access all the photos stored on the camera while it was connected. So in one misfortune, I discovered how to and actually saved my valuable voice notes and photos. This was a real blessing. I may not be able to receive calls but I got a lot more.

Now let me see how I can open this thing and disconnect the battery and reconnect it… This the boring part so… go back and read the great benefits I got from this misfortune this “Tale of the Frozen Cell phone screen!”

Look for the good in everything as you go through your day today…

Bless!

Update: Upon plugging in the cell phone after it died fully, wonders of wonders — it started to work again. Thank God!
