Splash is one of my favorite movies of all time!

I really can’t believe it took Hollyweird this long to bandy about the idea of remaking it (despite the fact that a remake isn’t needed. Hanks, Hannah, Candy, and Levy are sheer perfection); however, it’s here.

That said I’d actually love to see this movie remade with a black gay male couple, just totally turn it on it’s head as a truly modern love story.

But yeah I’m looking forward to seeing Channing and his delicious Tatums naked, wet, and in fins. Hopefully they don’t CGI the hell out of the fins. That will take away from the splendor.
