[Mobile Guide] Update v1.9.0 — iOS Screencast

Hey everyone! It’s Editor B with PRISM Live Studio, the global live streaming app.

In today’s post, I wanted to talk about the new iOS screencast feature.

Previously, only apps that supported the replay kit feature would allow you to screencast on PRISM. Now with this latest update, you can screencast from any app!

In order to set up the Screen Recording feature on iOS, please follow the next simple steps in Settings as shown in the photo below.

Settings > Control Center > Customize Controls > Screen Recording

Simply go to the Control Center of the iOS, long-press the record button, and click PRISM Live as shown in the photo below.

Here, it is important to note that in order to create an audio input stream, the microphone must be turned On for the Microphone On/Off button. Turning the microphone On would allow for both the game sounds to be input via the internal audio capture as well as the streamer’s voice through the microphone.

Please bear in mind that due to iOS regulations, features that are available on Androids such as including a screen of the streamer’s face and watching the chat box are not available features. We do apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

PRISM Live Studio team continues to strive for continued quality improvement. Thank you for your support and interest!
