Men and women in prison can struggle with feelings of isolation, sorrow, and distress. The Bible is the ultimate source of encouragement and as such can give hope to those facing the challenges and consequences of crime and incarceration.
The following verses can inspire women in prison and lift their spirits as they cope with the daily challenges of prison life.

EMPOWER WOMEN
Psalm 64:5 — God is within her, she will not fall.
Proverbs 3:5–6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
Matthew 5:6 — Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Luke 1:45 — Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!
