I am a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (21 years). I teach and conduct research in the areas of distributed systems, fault-tolerant computing, embedded systems, sports technology, and entrepreneurship. I am the CEO and Founder of YinzCam (14 years). YinzCam's platform is used by 200+ professional sports teams and leagues in the NFL, NBA, MLS, NHL, English Premier League, A-Leagues (Australia), La Liga, and more. YinzCam is used by 100MM+ sports fans around the world. I love the craft of entrepreneurship, engineering, teaching, and research. I find my purpose and drive in the growth and coaching of people, in particular, entrepreneurs. I thrive on the creative autonomy of the academic and startup life, and on the energy and risk-taking that goes with it.

I am the mother of an awesome 16-year old boy, who is the love of my life. I am a runner and I love the energy of the starting line and the finish line of any race.
