Are you a newbie in programming and afraid of writing a program? Do you also get that thought that it is very difficult, and not my cup of tea? Do you also quit practicing after having a hard time building logic?

So, guys before you quit and think that you can never able to build logic and make a program, please read my story. Maybe after reading this you feel that if she can, obviously I will.

My name is Priyanka Prajapati. I have done MTech in Electrical Engineering. In my 6 years of engineering, I did not know any programming language. I always had fear of coding and used to think that my logic building is not good and I can never be able to build any program.

I guess destiny had some other plans for me. I have always run away from coding and at last, I ended up doing it. So, after completing my postgraduation I did not get a job in my field hence, thought of switching to the IT field as it has more job opportunities. I started learning the C programming language and read the whole book “Let Us C” by Yashvant Kanetkar. But when it came to coding, I had no idea where to start. People gave the advice to learn C++, Java, Python, saying these languages have more scope. Accordingly, I kept juggling from one language to another without solidifying my programming basics and kept on mugging up the syntax. I used to think that I have started getting into programming, but to be honest, I was just consoling myself. As my concepts were not clear, making a simple program proved to be a huge task for me and my confidence kept on decreasing day by day. And the thought of not having a job even after completing my master's was torturing me.

Then, one of my friends told me about Web Development. I started exploring this new field and after learning HTML and CSS, I found it fascinating. But, then again I got stuck when the logic building part came i.e. JavaScript. I thought knowing HTML, CSS was enough and some DOM manipulation using JavaScript was sufficient to become a Web Developer. But there was much more to that. I failed again. I wanted to learn Web Development but was not getting any clear direction. I started building some projects without knowing where I was heading to. Henceforth, all the projects remain incomplete.

After struggling for few months, I got to know about “neogcamp” and my search and struggle ended there. The questions I had in my mind were all answered by the mentor and founder of neogcamp- Tanay Pratap. I started doing his level Zero program(which is for absolute beginners). While doing level Zero, I realized that the way I was approaching everything was totally wrong. Though after completing level Zero I can not say that I have become the master in building logic, now I know how to approach any problem. And after getting into level One,(a six-month Bootcamp, where Tanay Pratap will teach you to become a FullStack developer) I am sure all my concepts will get cleared.

Now, I got my confidence back which was shattered a long way back. I know that if I continue doing hard work and code daily, I will get a job very soon.

I came from an electrical background with no knowledge of coding, I have had problems but now I am learning and it is not that difficult. Just do it everyday and keep doing it. There is one and only way to learn coding is to practice. You have to code daily. Hardwork has no substitute.

P.S. Tanay Sir, you are an angel for people like me. Thank you so much.
