How to start a home organizing business (Hint: it’s easier than you think)
Did you even know that “professional organizing” is a thing?
Whether you’re into color-coding your closet or pride yourself on perfecting your garage system, if you love organizing, you really could be making bank. But almost nobody realizes that this is a real thing with a name, and it’s a “professional organizer”.
Even if you did know a few things already about the professional organizing industry, I have some well-kept secrets that I’m dying to share with you so that you can start a profitable side business without wasting money and time on classes or certifications that aren’t really necessary to make SALES.
Knowing how to make the sale is everything. When it comes down to it, you can not do anything else in your business without the cash flow.
I started my organizing business in 2014, and although I have since developed other entrepreneurial interests in web design and marketing, I have kept up my organizing clients on the side part-time… because I just can’t let go of the fact that people pay me hundreds of dollars a day to work with them on editing their closets and organizing their home offices. And I absolutely love this stuff.
It thrills me to know that I know how to sell what I do and that no one can take that knowledge away from me.
If you are at a time in your life where an extra side hustle to bring in income could really help you and your family, I’d love to get to know you and answer your questions.
I genuinely feel that if I can help one other woman like myself — someone who wants a business she can be proud of, but also really values having balance at home — that giving away this knowledge for free would be worth it.
To that end, I’ve created a free course that literally tells you exactly how to get started on becoming a professional organizer.
All of the tools that I recommend are free, and I also want you to avoid the traps out there that make you feel like you “must” become a paid member of any program or site (including mine) in order to become a REAL professional organizer.
There are no certifications required to start making $50–125 an hour on the home organizing skills you have now.
The only thing that really counts is whether you have a heart for helping people and can follow through on your commitment to help them make the changes they want in their home.
If you love organizing, and love people, you really ought to be making money on the side as a pro organizer!
In this free course, I show you examples of how to fit clients into your life, just as it is right now. Of course, growing a business is hard work and it takes a lot of hustle… but if you do it right from the get-go, you won’t waste any money or time getting to the results you want.
I’m eager to connect with you and answer your questions — whether that’s in a private email conversation or in any one of my social media channels.
I also have over 45 hours of content on YouTube chatting with other people new to the idea that professional organizing is the career they’ve been looking for their whole lives without realizing it.
Yep, it’s a thing. It could be your thing, too.
