I’m pretty sure that one of the reasons I don’t write more often is because there is pressure to be a ‘good’ writer. So in that respect, I agree, we shouldn’t feel obligated to write in a particular way. This may not be 100% true for everyone but I feel like most people can get their ideas accross in person, while having a one to one conversation with somebody. However I can comfortably say more than a few people struggle to get their ideas & opinion down in written word. Perhaps it the idea of a larger audeince that gets in the way. There’s always a pressure to sound smarter when more people are listening.
