Can i be *personal* with you for a moment?

Seeing Jimmy Fallon holding my artwork on The Tonight Show made me incredible proud of myself! To be honest, I can count the number of times I’ve allowed myself to feel that way.

When someone gives my work compliments I usually ignore it and run away. Not because I’m rude, but because I don’t know how to handle it.

The result is that I sometimes forget what I have accomplished, which makes me sad. I will never get that back and I regret it. This hurts me even more when it affects my personal life and those around me. I wan’t that to change so it’s my goal for 2016.

Making ”Lush Life” was my last job as a full-time freelancer at Proclaim before starting my new job. My deadline was less than 24 hours and I had no material to work with. I had not even heard the song. I loved the challenge and promised myself to give it a fair shot.

The fact that this project now has over 460 million streams still blows my mind! Designing that cover didn’t take me long, but the result of that is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
