Hi Kelly,

Loved the rant.

Just a quick parenthesis here, there are a bunch of races in this planet, all of us belong to the human race. There is no ‘black race’ or ‘white race’. Racism has no scientific grounds, what most people want to refer as racism, is either ethnicism or stereotypism.

I hate emoji, mostly because it has gained so much popularity, and it is Apple’s intellectual property, and when someones intellectual property becomes mainstream, that is worrying. Specially when that someone is Apple.

More about your post, the problem you talk about is not really emoji specific, what you talk about is a problem that, I believe, started when women whore granted voting power. Honestly, since then has been a crazy ‘ism’ about the most mundane differences in humans. And nowadays, you basically can only make fun of Christians, any other differences you use to have a laugh, will get you in trouble with some panel activist panel for the rights of this and that.

So, don’t blame emoji. Blame the patent systems and legal protection non senses. Apple is on the spotlight, if a lawyer can get them convicted of abusing a certain minority because the police officer women was not available with a burka, they will, and they can make millions with this non sense. That is why you hate emoji.

I, on the other hand, hate judges that can spend more than 2 minutes with the case of the woman police officer emoji not available in a burka, without calling everyone else on the room to their proper judgement.

Anyway, I would like a Pope emoji. Wonder how would that go..
