The first birthday
My husband’s 32nd and first as a fatherFor the first time in a decade together, I’m not sharing my husband with his entire family on his birthday. We are cozied up in New York State with our 4 month old on this day, and you’d think we’d feel lonely… so is not the case. Not the case at all. Last night, we talked about getting older. We giggled until well past midnight, and our infant son giggled with us. We made fun of our (now) aching knees, our dependence on coffee, and how we’re starting to lose our youthful good looks.Stephanie Snyder1 min read
