Robotic integration in the workplace will be a detriment to the industrial workforce because of the loss of jobs. Robotics technologies are not safe if human involvement is removed from the workforce. An increase in robotics in the workplace will reduce interpersonal communication, and will negatively impact the social environment.

Integrating robotics into the workforce can have detrimental effects on those who work in jobs that can be replaced buy robots. Replacing humans with robotics can contribute to high unemployment rates in a specific job area that allows robots to do efficient work maybe even more so than humans. It would be wise to limit the jobs specified for robots in the workforce to prevent this from happening, thus preventing people from losing their jobs.

Robots on the working place has a big impact in communication. Social robots are being used for many tasks. Leading humans to be able to interact one to one with the robots and losing communication with the rest of the human workers.

Integrating automated robotics into a business can cost a significant initial investment. Since automated robotics is a technology that is starting to emerge, the cost of robotic equipment and maintenance is really expensive. If robotic equipment is just integrated to the workplace and does not replace the workers, these employees will require training for programming and interacting with the new robotic equipment, which will take time and financial output.

Yet, using robots in workplace also has great benefits. Human errors, can be easily found on the web with caption “You had one job”, will be greatly reduced. What human body cannot take physically, such as high heat, extreme coldness, or radiation can be handled by robots. In addition, as workplaces need more robots to use, it will actually create more jobs for programmers and manufacturers.
