For someone that claim to know Star Wars so well (not really with everything you wrote) it is a big faux pas saying that Qui-Gon Jinn died, when he was the one who thaught Yoda how to become one with the Force, after losing to Darth Maul.

Anakin algo became one with the Force, as we can see at the end of the original trilogy. Yoda died of old age, then became one with the Force, Obi-Wan might be the only one different.

The way Luke goes did not seem as a choice, he was spent. He didn’t even want adventure, Obi-Wan had to convince him.
