Introducing Galxe ID, and more new features

Ever since the launch in early 2021, Galxe has gradually expanded the scope with 50 diverse communities. We are blessed to become one of the leading NFT launchpad as well as serving other blockchain projects with the credential-based NFT infrastructure. But the Galxe is forever evolving, and we are aiming to help build an open Web3 world.

Today, we are beyond thrilled to announce that Galxe will soon usher in a revolutionary upgrade and expansion to our current Galxe ecosystem. The upgrade consists of one new feature and three new modules:

• Galxe ID
• Task-based campaign module w/ Twitter integration
• Gas-less NFT minting module
• NFT claiming w/Email module

Introducing Galxe ID

To put this in the most simplest way as possible, Galxe ID is aiming to become your on-chain LinkedIn. Galxe is a miracle space where on-chain credentials float around, and we are now taking them to another level.

For all the users on Galxe,

• Galxe ID can be your universal username that will replace your wallet address in Web3.
• You can display the credentials collected in the Web3 world and showcase the history of your achievements.
• Developer integration support: As a metaverse DID, developers can integrate Galxe ID toolkit and offer customized features to users based on users’ on-chain credentials. This will open up a lot of possibilities and redefine the future of Web3.
• More features will be added, and soon you will be able to use the Galxe ID in Galxe’s extensive partner network.

We find this extremely exciting because the launch of Galxe ID will make all on-chain credentials open and versatile, which significantly raises a wide range of use cases. The alpha version of Galxe ID is live.

Task-based campaign module w/ Twitter integration

You can now boost your twitter engagement with Galxe’s new task-based campaign module + twitter integration! This feature aims to help all the projects and developers that want to create a more vibrant twitter community. It enables the users to confirm their participation or claim the exclusive NFTs presented by their favorite projects. With this new module, developers can build step-by-step campaigns for example:

• Follow the twitter account
• Like the tweet
• Retweet a certain tweet
• Sign the wallet to confirm the participation or claim an NFT!

The feature will be live in the next 1–2 weeks for all developers.

Gas-less NFT minting module

All communities/DAOs on Galxe will now have the option to pay gas fees on behalf of their members, so that users can just sign the wallet to receive the NFTs during the campaigns, without paying more out of their pockets.

Currently gas-less minting module is only supported on Polygon network, but we will gradually rolling out the same feature to other chains.

NFT claiming w/Email module

Want to build a campaign for your community but only have their email address? No problem!

The new feature aims to open up a lot of use cases for off-chain organizations, and allow users to join campaigns by just verifying their emails. Once the email and eligibility are confirmed, they will be able to connect the wallet to claim the NFT.
