President Trump did not mock anyone.

Did Donald not claim Mexicans are rapists?

Did Donald also not claim that a US-born judge wasn’t qualified to preside over his Trump U fraud trial because the judges parents were born in Mexico?

Did Donald also not spend years falsely claiming that Obama was born in Africa?

Did Donald also not pay a massive fine for refusing to rent his apartments to African-Americans?

Was Donald’s father not a white-hooded member of the KKK?

Did Donald also pretend he had never heard of David Duke or the KKK on camera despite historical video evidence to the contrary?

Do you remember how Donald responded to being endorsed by the KKK?

“I don’t know anything about what you’re even talking about with white supremacy or white supremacists. So I don’t know. I don’t know — did he endorse me, or what’s going on? Because I know nothing about David Duke; I know nothing about white supremacists.”

David Duke and the KKK loved this response. It’s what’s called a “dog whistle.” Trump later claimed it was a faulty ear-piece, while still not rejecting the endorsements.

Contrast this with that of Ronald Regean in 1984:

“Those of us in public life can only resent the use of our names by those who seek political recognition for the repugnant doctrines of hate they espouse. The politics of racial hatred and religious bigotry practiced by the Klan and others have no place in this country, and are destructive of the values for which America has always stood.”

That is how any dignified American who believes in basic human equality would respond to a KKK endorsement.

I don’t want to get overly personal here, but do you happen to believe that some people are superior to others based on the color of their skin?
