I noticed something here that no one else is mentioned. Why can’t you stand on your brother’s side? My boyfriend has a sister and when we get married, she can stand on his side. My college roomates are men and they will be standing on my side. She’s HIS sister, they are MY friends. I’m not saying we can’t share people, but I also don’t get why my people can’t stand on my side. I don’t get the gender divide.

If you are mad at someone, why not your bro? Why not ask him why you can’t stand at his side when he gets married? I’d be more likely to be peeved at my brother than his fiance.
