SHE

A fountain of joy tumbled down
And drenched the desert in heart
As I felt the same soft touch
I forgot we had to part.

The darkness of the night vanished in a while
With a tap of magic wand
I saw the light of hope glowing
As I grasped her hand.

An untold question shown in my eye
I stared for a while
I wondered if she’s really back
She nodded with ‘that’ smile.

A thousand birds chirped round me
Her fragrance filled the air
A thousand buds bloomed at once
But I woke up for nightmare.

Spring was not there on my earth
It was winter again,
The morning brought the darkest night
I felt a deep chest-pain.

Rolled down tears, I stared outside
A dream such nice to see
With a strike of stern reality
On bed lay she-less me!
